Dear Parents & Students:

Now you have the choice of a traditional classroom or a self-paced on-line course.  With either option you’ll learn to drive in our cars with our highly trained State of Texas certified instructors. If you are interested in completing Teens or Adults Drivers Education through our online course, DFW Driving School has all your need covered. You can sign up anytime and get started.

How do I sign up? 

You can purchase online for our Teen or Adult Drivers Education Course. DFW Driving School will provide you all the information(Online Course Packet) you need to get started. Handle everything from your computer except the driving. Flexible Schedule: online course that works around your busy schedule. Integrated Curriculum: Our online course blends seamlessly with our in-car training.


I’m signed Up, Now what?

Upon registration, you will receive an email within 24 hours with log-in link and instructions to set up your account. Make sure to save this link. You will use it each time to access your account.


How soon can I finish my hours?

If you are a teen you can only earn a max of 2 hours credit per day over a period of 16 days. Once you have completed the 16 days and finished all assignments with a passing grade along with passing test scores you will get full credit for Phase 1 of the Teen Drivers Education Course.

If you are an adult you can finish your 6 hours in one day, once you complete the permit test online and pass the permit test you will be give a ADE- 1317 form to get your permit at the Driver License Office.


When do I get my Permit?

Teens can get their DE-964 form when the complete the 6 hours of class and have received a passing score on their permit test. Once those hours are completed along with passing grades on assignments and test you can go to your nearest DPS location with your DE-964 form(provided by DFW Driving School) along with supporting documents to the DPS to get your permit. You will need your permit to start Phase 2 of the Drivers Education course.


Will the course be hard?

Our State Certified Drivers Ed instructors are here to help you every step of the way. He will be available to answer all your questions, they  can be reached through email and can return calls if you need a call back for more specific information.
